- Shahzia has dealt with nationally reported standards investigation into abusive language used at council meetings
- Shahzia’s team won a Legal 500 award for environmental team of the year for work done on windfarms in Bristol
- Shahzia is chair of the national legal shared services group and has previously chaired the Combined Authorities Monitoring Officer group
